My friend Lee Morris is a hang four hang gliding pilot who I have known since I was 15 years old. The first time that I tried it was age 16 in Kitty Hawk, N.C. Now, years later, we are still flying. This video was taken last week at Blue Mountain in Pennsylvania at the top of the ski slopes. The next day we went to Elmira, N.Y. where Lee and our friend Bill soared at Harris Hill and Katydid. Hang gliding is the most exhilarating sport that I can think of. It’s the closest humans can come to soaring like an eagle. If you ever get the chance, go for it!
